Hi, I’m Yvonne.

I’m a certified financial life coach who walks with people through new beginnings, especially when money feels uncertain.

It could be a career change. A divorce. A new baby. Or any life event that suddenly makes money feel more serious than it has before. Planned or unplanned, you’re now in a place where you have to figure things out.

Or maybe there wasn’t a single turning point… just the growing awareness that the spending isn’t slowing down, the paycheck doesn’t stretch far enough, and you want more control and breathing room with your money.

If that’s you, I’d be honored to be your financial GPS — we start where you are, figure out where you want to go, and map out the steps to get you there.

I didn’t start here.

My path to financial coaching wasn’t straight or polished. I’ve walked through major life changes, including divorce, single parenting, and starting over financially. I’ve had seasons where I felt confident with money… and seasons where I had to slow down, face my own habits, and make different choices about spending, saving, and planning.

My faith became an anchor during those rebuilding years. It shaped how I see money, not just as numbers on a page, but as a tool, a responsibility, and a way to create stability. That perspective brings both grace and accountability into the way I coach.

I know what it feels like when the numbers don’t match the life you want. I also know the relief that comes when you finally have a clear plan, and the spending has a purpose instead of running the show.

Those experiences shape how I coach today. I don’t see spreadsheets — I see people carrying stress, responsibility, and big hopes for what’s next.

Experience that goes beyond theory

Before becoming a coach, I spent years working in real estate and mortgage. I’ve helped people buy homes, refinance, and navigate big financial decisions during emotional life moments. I’ve seen what happens when people are prepared … and when they aren’t.

That background gives me practical, real-world insight into how money works in everyday life, not just in textbooks.

This isn’t just mindset talk. It’s guidance that connects your daily choices to your long-term goals.

My approach is simple.

Financial coaching shouldn’t feel like a lecture. It should feel like finally being able to exhale.

When we work together, you can expect:

  • Clear steps instead of overwhelm
  • Honest conversations without judgment
  • A focus on progress, not perfection
  • Space to ask the questions you’ve been afraid to ask

You don’t have to have everything organized before you reach out. That’s what we’ll do together.

Life beyond the numbers

When I’m not coaching, you’ll often find me working from a cozy spot at home, or outside on a warm day with my dog, digging in the garden. I believe life and money are deeply connected and that your finances should support the life you actually want to live, not just look good on paper.

I care about helping you build a future that feels steady, flexible, and full of possibility.

Let’s build your next chapter

You don’t have to figure this out alone, and you don’t have to do it all at once.

If you’re ready to go beyond the budget, find clarity, and have support that meets you where you are, I’d love to walk with you.

Book a session and let’s start mapping out your next financial chapter — one step at a time.

Financial Coach vs Financial Advisor

A financial coach helps clients develop healthy financial habits, create budgets, and set financial goals. They provide education and accountability to empower clients to make informed financial decisions confidently.

A financial advisor offers financial planning services, including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and insurance planning.

Coaching vs Counseling

What is the difference between a counselor and a coach? A counselor will generally work with you to overcome issues in your past and come to your current life. A coach will assist you in your present life to reach greater potential, meet future goals, motivate you and keep you accountable. Both can work individually or in conjunction with one another. With tailoring a tested and proven method for you, we'll work together to move you from where you are to where you want to be by removing limiting mental boundaries and raising your positivity quotient with coaching and habit development so you can start living the life you genuinely desire.
